This morning we provided you with a link to submit questions that you had at that time. We were able to provide answers to most of those questions below.

It is expected that there will be more questions as we go forward and we are here to help. If you need assistance with curriculum, technology integration, ideas, etc... please contact your grade level coordinator either through email or their daily office hour sessions.

Is there a significant difference between archiving a class in GoGuardian and simply turning off all your sessions?It more reliable to everyone to archive to make sure we have no overlapping of time or anything. We worry about someone not turning something off and then kiddos being blocked. Please archive for now and once we return we can restore the class.
Are after school activities, such as Math Tournament, suspended?Contact your site administrator
In the Canvas class, you don't have a lesson template for 9-12, is there a one?The lesson template is the same for TK-12. The main purpose is to have a daily message to parents and students. Follow the same template and just delete the subject areas that don't pertain to you.

How do we assign a link to an assignment from a google slide?When you click on "share something with your class", you will see an "Add" button with a paper click icon. Click on "Add" and you will have a drop down option that allows you to share a link.
I have not received my invitation to the Canvas Course, is there a self add code that I missed?If we missed someone we apologize. Please email Katrina Borncamp (kborncamp@lammersvilleusd.net) to get added into the course.
For Aeries Communication to parents, is there a video or help guide to do this using Aeries? I have not done this to date.Aeries Communication How-To Guide is in the Staff Portal under Technology.
The presentation directed me back to Canvas. Where do I go for the 6-12 virtual meeting?Please call or email - Zoom meetings with the Coordinators are over.
My parents are use to getting regular emails from me. Not through Aeries. Is it possible to use my regular form (normal email) for the daily communication? Especially since I am asking for them to email me with questions/concerns?I would communicate this with your administrator. We want to make sure we don't miss anyone on the email list. Aeries is our most up-to-date with parent information.
I just logged into my google classroom account and I still have Kindergarten. I am in TK now so how do I change it?Archive any old courses and add any new classes for TK. Click here
Do the students have the Zoom app on their Chromebooks? Do they have accounts?Students do not need an app to join a Zoom meeting. You can have students join a Zoom meeting in the same way that we did with you this morning. Share the link for the Zoom meeting with your students through Google Classroom or Canvas. Students click on the link to join the Zoom meeting.
Do we need to get parent consent to use Flip GridNo, parent consent is not needed for Flip Grid. The district has already taken the necessary steps to have this approved for use by students.
On the padlet, it says that screencastify is working with closed schools to help with premium. It says for the site admin to email them to get the ball rolling on that. Do I need to have my site admin do that, or is the district spearheading that for everyone?You can email your admin; however, we do have Camtasia recorder that will do the same thing.
My student just emailed asking when their pickup time for Chromebook is and they already missed their pickup. When should I tell them to go get theirs?Please contact your site admin for information.
Can I have a Canvas Conference with multiple courses? (Like 7th grade and 8th grade together?)You can run two sessions at the same time, but Canvas Conferences will only run one course at a time.
I'm having trouble with Think Central Assignments. I have added assignments over and over again to my class and for whatever reason they are not saving. What am I doing wrong?We have heard from a few that there is a significant lag of multiple hours between assigning a resource in Think Central and it arriving on the student dashboard. Tech is contacting Journeys now to find out if this will be ongoing
